We are currently awaiting the appointment of a priest in charge.
Volunteers are always welcome for those prepared to read lessons, help at fairs and events, clean the church or act as sidesperson (welcoming people into church and handing out hymn books and service sheets); if you are interested, please contact Chris Gurney, on 01889 562338.
The church itself was designed by Thomas Fradgley, who also designed St Mary’s church in Uttoxeter, and Marchington church. (It is said that the Stramshall church design was intended for Marchington and vice versa). The church was built between 1852 and 1854 and features some attractive stained glass.
